Project Lead ARARA
On my way to COP30, I’m helping promote the ARARA platform — a breakthrough effort to stop the Amazon from reaching ecological collapse by building a sustainable forest economy.
we pay them to protect it.**
We use transparent digital finance — via an app — to send direct payments to Indigenous peoples, riverine families, smallholders, and local youth. These are the people who protect their territories every day. They deserve stable income and a future that values the forest they care for.
Communities receive payments for maintaining forest health, biodiversity, and canopy cover.
Forest vitality is tracked using world-class satellite and open-data tools, supported by leading environmental organizations.

The app lets communities document their contributions and receive fair financial recognition.
Funds flow first to territorial protection, then to projects like agroforestry, nursery training, native reforestation, and climate-resilient livelihoods.
This flips the incentives:
🟢 Forest guardians become forest partners.
🟢 Local people thrive as the forest thrives.
The Amazon is the largest cooling organ of our living planet.
If it collapses, Earth’s climate system destabilizes.
ARARA provides a direct, transparent, scalable way to strengthen the people who protect the world’s most vital ecosystem.
Contact me and I’ll send full details.
We will deploy the first ARARA app pilot within a few months directly in the Amazon.
If you’re serious about real climate solutions — ones that protect people and forests together — ARARA is one of the most promising pathways we have.
